Tia’mui’sit (Moose Call) is a remote lodge nestled in the Long Range Mountains above the Victoria Lake watershed. The main hunting area is accessible from the lodge through eighteen kilometres of abandoned logging road and numerous game trails. All surrounded by a network of ponds and waterways, making the area comparable to a hunting reserve, with no competition from local hunters. The lake itself and its tributaries have an abundant supply of fish. Wildlife species frequenting the area include; Moose, Woodland Caribou, Black Bear, Coyote, Pine Marten (endangered), Rabbit, Arctic Hare, Grouse, Ptarmigan, Eagles, Hawks, Canadian Geese, Ducks, and numerous species of small birds and mammals.

New addition to the Abadak family. The Qalipu hunter
Really enjoying my summer vacation. Just wore out one shovel and starting on another.
Another 2 days punched at emergency road repair. Boats, which are usually launched on May 24 weekend, are still in storage. Good news is that I finally got my ATV to the lake. Another 80 yards of road repair and the truck should make it, unless we get another big rain fall.
